Project Management Support

The decision to outsource Project Management services within a company can be a cost-effective solution for organizations that do not have the right Project Management skills to manage complex projects. Our responsibility as project/program manager is to represent and protect our client's interests in all areas of project implementation and manage all aspects of the project. We utilize the PMI project management system which ensures the criteria for the implementation of any project are essentially the same.

Document Control

Risk Management

A good document control system is an essential element of good project management.  Our process utilizes a tracking system aligned with our WBS for all projects.  This system logs all incoming and outgoing documents as well as the status of each document at every point in time. Copies of all documents are also filed electronically, providing a web-based system that allows secure, controlled access for all identified stakeholders.

Earned Value Management

Managing a project efficiently requires both knowledge and tools which enable you to measure and predict its performance. Earned Value Management (EVM) is a project performance management methodology that integrates cost, schedule and scope to assess progress against a baseline, and use that information to identify any problems, and forecast cost at completion. This very useful tool is critical to effectively measure what are you accomplishing for the funds you are expending. Our team provides this service to ensure effective cost and schedule controls during the execution of a project.

Anticipating, understanding, and having a plan to successfully manage unique challenges is key to the success of any project.  The main purpose of a risk assessment is to identify, plan for, and mitigate any undesirable impacts to a project. This is a critical step in keeping the scope, schedule, and budget from spiraling out of control. The risk matrix we develop becomes a living document that is updated regularly throughout the course of the project. Our project controls manager will work closely with risk management resources to review risks on a regular basis. We also use the scheduled project update meetings to identify and address potential risks.

Project Management Plan Development

We can assist our clients in generating a project management plan (PMP) at the beginning of the project. The PMP is a formal, approved document that defines how the project is executed, monitored, and controlled. We will review project data, existing lessons learned data, perform a risk assessment, and develop a detailed work plan for the assigned task. We will use the PMP as a reference for any decisions that need to be made during the execution of the project and to provide consistency in the application of agreed-upon procedures and policies.

Lesson Learned Strategies

A major part of our project management methodology involves reviewing lessons learned to discuss approaches that worked well in the past and to avoid repetition of errors. We document our lessons learned throughout the course of all projects for future reference and refine our risk management process.

Extension of Staff Services

When required, we can staff our client office by acting as an extension of staff.  Our team will seamlessly integrate with our client’s team to ensure effective collaboration that ensures the continued success of the project.

Contract Administration

Contract administration begins with a thorough understanding of the optimal outcomes of a contract. This service ensures the contractor performs services to meet the requirements of the contract. We administer the terms of the contract to ensure the rights of all parties are upheld
and the correct processes are maintained to deliver the expected outcome.
